Officially Ours!!!!

It's official, he is ours forever and ever! Cale Riley, is an official Williamson! He was all smiles today!

My Mom got to come to the court house with us!

Ok, so the 1 picture I had my Mom take is blurry, so hopefully the one she got on her camera won't be, but after The Big Picture scrap weekend I just attended, if this is what I get it will still be framed & treasured forever & ever. Anyone that knows me well, knows that I'm still crying a bit inside but I do know that the memory is what I'll take from it, & knowing that Cale is mine! What a perfect day! This day also reminds me of Logan's official day......I can't believe how blessed I am to be the Mother of these 2 amazing little boys!

Carving It Up

My Mom got this cute set for Logan to do himself, there were 3 faces to put on the pumpkins like a Mr. Potato Head! One year she got him a light brite set to do on a pumpkin, its quite cute for the little ones who aren't ready for a knife!

My niece had put her baby inside there pumpkin one year & got the cutest photos, well it was not going over in any way shape or form......mean mommy......what she'll do for a photo!

The Big Picture

This weekend was the benefit for Tracy's boy's after her sudden passing in May. Tracy would have been so pleased with her sons! Dave's eyes light up when his kids talk, he looked so proud, as he should be. They are amazing! Connor made an album of his Mom's memories & he wrote things that will touch anyone who reads them. Stacy Julian & Lisa Bearnson donated there time & energy to this benefit, they are two incredible women, & I am so greatful to have met them both, again. Stacy's lecture touched my heart & soul. It's the Big Picture! Spend your time willingly & freely with your family & friends with a smile in your heart & on your face, don't sweat the little things & tell your story, you have no idea whose life it will change. Share your values & beliefs and you will be better in doing so. I don't know if she realizes it, but to me, she also shares the gospel when she speaks, it radiates through her, & is a truly wonderful gift. Thank you, Stacy & Lisa, for a wonderful weekend & for making one more of Tracy's dreams a reality!

Under Cover

Where to begin.......first I'll explain this gorgeous hand knitted blanket by Mom made for Cale. She started it when we were in Virginia getting the little fellow, had it half way done by my shower (it was in a bag with the hooks still in it), & we just got it on Thursday (I had actually forgotten about it)! So after his bath that night we started using it. He loves it! He especially loves his fingers in the holes!

I haven't left the house all week. The flu/cold bug. I have been miserable & Cale has had a little bit of it but by Friday night it really hit him hard. He has been running 102-103 temps. I'll probably need to take him in to the Doctor tomorrow. If he's not sleeping then he is fussy/crying constantly. I'm drained.

I got good news with my Etsy shop, I got a custom order, I am so tickled! Hopefully things will start picking up with the holidays.

A good friend of mine just found out a week ago Friday that her husband of 19 years has found another women he wants to spend his life with! Can you imagine, he goes to her place of work to tell her this & by that evening was out of the house. I'm so mad I could scream! What a blank, blank, blank, head! She is a wreck, & I feel so helpless. Then it just brings back everything I'd like to say to my Father but never have.

Another dear friend, my Missionary, Andrew, stopped by for a quick visit on his way through town. What a neat young man he is! (this is the missionary that taught me) He has touched my heart in so many ways. He is working as a bank teller & going to college full time. I just adore that we still have this special bond & I hope it continues through out our lives.

Well, that's it, in a nutshell. Mainly, just not feeling well, hopefully things will get better for this next week. Tracy's benefit is this weekend at the Scrapbook store, so I'll be busy, busy!

We've been "Booed!"

Yesterday the doorbell rings, I go to answer the door only to find a bright orange gift bag with goodies from the neighborhood ghost! There are instructions to hang a copy of a ghost( that was provided) in your window or on your front door so that other neighbors know that you have been visited! Then it asks you to "Boo" two other neighbors. They hope to get the whole neighborhood by Halloween! What a great idea, & so so fun. We got a nice big pumpkin candy jar, m&ms, & ghost peeps! So stinkin cute! So, I challenge you to "Boo" friends, family, or your neighbors, it will make them scarily happy!

Pumpkins, and More Pumpkins!

We made our annual trip to Benson's Nursery this last weekend. I love going there & getting our pumpkins, Macintosh apples, & fresh corn! It has been a tradition for some time now, but this year we had a new addition with us! I remember when it was Logan's first time, he slept the entire time in his car seat! Not Cale, he was taking it all in! We ended up with 12 pumpkins to decorate our front porch. I also got a gorgeous mum for our outside table. Did I mention that I love Fall? Logan loves just looking at the apple trees, well, & climbing a few too!

I went to the Mall today to redeem my Gym Bucks & I ended up getting the boy's there Christmas outfits at the Children's Place. To to cute, I can't wait for pictures. Since it was early out we ended up going to the park with my friend Leslie & her kids. Cale is so ready to get down & play, I'll probably let him sooner then I did with Logan but still to early for me! Ron is picking up dinner since I had the kids down there till now, & then I thought....I haven't posted again! How can I do a give away with out posting! Well, its my favorite night of the week for TV, I can't miss Grey's, I'm addicted! Till tomorrow........

More Ramblings

Well, I got the Halloween decorations out an put up today to surprise Logan when he came home from school. He loves the Holidays so I love to make it all festive in the house. Cale doesn't care unless he gets to put it in his mouth :)! We got Logan's costume last night, he was begging me & I told him he couldn't change his mind so here's hoping that the Iron Man craze lasts all month. He is watching the movie right now! Cale is going to be Eeyore, it is a handmade costume that my mom made for Logan when he was little & I'm afraid that by next year he will be to big for it so I'm using it this year. I can't wait to see him in it! It is adorable & its the only costume my mom ever made so.....Well, that's it for Wednesday!
