The 'Greats'

Memorial weekend was spent driving with my Dad to Seattle to see my Grandparents & to help find my Dad's Mom a full care living place. It was a very stressful emotional weekend to say the least but on the flip side it was such a joy to see them & for them to meet Cale. Both of his Great Grandmas shake quite a bit so he didn't sit with them to well but he took to my Grandpa & he to him. I sat remembering all of the times Ron & I visited them before we had our children & I am so greatful for each & every moment. It was more then likely the last time that I will see my Dad's Mom unless she surprises me but the memories will be with me forever. Ron & Logan hung out for the weekend, doing the boy things, movies (iron man) & McDonalds......boys!

Last Day of Pre-School

Well its official, Logan got his pre-school diploma today! It was his last day of school & there was a big carnival to celebrate. They had all 4 classes attend so it was crazy but very fun. The surprise guest was our Griz mascot, Monte. A little info for those non Missoulians, Monte is famous for his energetic gymnastic style, he has gotten national recognition.

We love bear hugs! Below is a Griz basketball player that signed autographs.

They had alot of fun at the 10 different stations, but the jumparoo was his favorite, oh, & the fishing pond, because mommy was working there when he came thru, so he got the best prize, shhhh don't tell! A friend watched Cale, first time I left him, I didn't leave Logan till after he was a year old, anyways I wanted to have just Logan & mom time for his special day.

They all got a balloon & their diploma after the carnival & after a huge lunch with popsicles & cake to top it all off. Thank you for a wonderful year Mrs. Judan! Well, off to Seattle with my Cale & my Dad to visit my Grandma who hasn't been doing well. It will just be for the long weekend so it will fly by but my Brother & family will get to meet Cale for the first time so that will be nice. Logan & daddy will have some boy time including kindergarten round up tomorrow, they will see what class of 4 they will be in & such. So, no updates for a bit, hope everyone has a nice Memorial weekend, I know we will!

Yeahhh!

So far Cale hates tummy time but when I propped him on the boppy pillow he smiled & lifted his head like a pro. I love to see all of his little milestones no matter how small!

Backwards Day

Yep, it was backwards day at school today. They dressed, & did there whole day backwards from recess to snack & yep that would include undies. Logan had a blast with it. Only one more day of pre-school, the carnival, I still can't begin to think that he will be in kindergarten all day next year, at least I have the summer to wrap my head around that.

Blessing Day

Yesterday afternoon our little Cale was Blessed during sacrament. What a feeling to not only have him blessed but also to have his Daddy give him his blessing. It was a gorgeous day & Cale was perfect, no crying at all, just taking it all in with those sea blue eyes of his. Big brother was so proud, but he wanted to have his special day, Our Sealing in Utah in a few weeks, to be on the same day.

My Mom knitted his blanket for me, & I found his outfit clearanced at the Childrens Place, after Easter sale, but it worked out beautiful for him, handsome little guy!

After church we had a picnic at the park with all of the families that were in the prayer circle & a few other close friends. Everyone brought a salad of sorts to go along with the fried chicken, it turned out wonderful. The kids had a blast in the sand & on the merry go round, Logan was covered in dirt from head to toe! The guest of honour slept through the entire afternoon/evening. What a perfectly blessed day!

Giggles, Grins, & Coos

Cale is talking, or as we say telling story's with his little coos & ahhhs. I love these sounds, they make my heart melt. He is smiling alot now, at every thing, especially BIG brother. What a blessing we have been given again, I'm amazed at how life can change with every breath we take. We are so greatful for each & every moment!

Random thoughts

Thought I would share a little. I have been terribly sick.....I finally went to the Dr. on Wed. morning to find out that I had a sinus infection & strep throat. I have been miserable to say the least. So, Ron took Logan to the Speed Racer movie tonight while my Mom picked up Cale, for his first sleep over. So, I should be sleeping but instead I'm posting, go figure. Logan didn't leave our sight for the first year, its funny how more laid back you are with the second. Cale officially went from newborn diapers to size one, ugh, it just means he is growing so fast. Logan had an awesome week at school. Police officers & an ambulane came one day, then his program was Thursday, which Ron recorded for me, thank goodness. All in all it was an ok week for everyone as long as I didn't swallow. Here's hoping to an awesome nights sleep for a much anticipated Mother's Day weekend. To all my amazing friends that are mothers, Happy Mother's Day!
