What a week......

.......it has been. An amazing person & friend passed away Wed. morning from an accidental overdose. She leaves behind a great hubby & 2 terrific boys. Tracy was only 41. It has been a very rough week. Her co-owner in the scrap store, Gina is a mess. So, many of us have been staying around her. I've been at the store alot helping, making memory boards & the programs for the celebration of her life event on Tuesday. I've been taking little man with me while Logan is at school or with my great friends. I am also leading a scrapbook fund raising event/class for her son's college tuition or what ever they might need the money for. I am so proud to say that Lisa Bearnson & Stacy Julian have already agreed to donate there time for this event. Stacy will also be at the celebration of her life. I even have Memory Lane helping with this. Hopefully we will raise an enormous amount of money!

On another note, Ron left Friday morning till Tuesday night on a motorcycle trip with the boys to Moab in Utah. He is having a blast while I'm being a struggling single mother, I don't know how women do that. I'm wiped with the 2 boys & emotionally drained, probably didn't help the matter. Hopefully after Tuesday things will mellow out again.

One good thing is that we made plans to be in Utah the first part of June with our family for my nephew, Tyler's wedding, our Sealing at the Temple, & for my niece's daughter, Emma's 3rd Birthday. We also have to hit the Children's museum & the Zoo this trip. It will be busy, but oh so fun & special to be able to share all of these wonderful events together. Plus, some of our amazing friends will be going to the Temple with us since we will be going in the summer, how great is that!

This was our first afternoon back to church as a family of four, my three boys, I never thought I'd say that. Cale was none to happy as you can see, he spit up right after the picture & I had to scurry to change him, again. Good thing we have the afternoon session or we would probably never make it. And Logan, well he was like, just take the picture Mom! I know though without the church, our amazing new friends, & the many prayers, that I wouldn't be able to have this post to share with you. The Lord truly answers our prayers, to this I testify!

Mid-life Crisis???

Well, my Dad finally bought one, a Harley Davidson. He has talked about getting one every year or so around this time, but this time he bought one. Logan already had his helmet from dirt biking with Daddy so he was all set to ride on the street with Papa. It has been pretty chilly here lately so hopefully he'll get more rides in.

On another note, I had to take Cale in to the Dr. for constipation & I thought possibly a cold because his throat was achy, no , it's just from crying so much at night, probably colic. Basically he laughed & said that Logan was an awesome baby & we were lucky & Cale is just normal. Gee, thanks! At least all is well, our baby shower is Saturday & I know people would be none to happy without the main attraction. Little chubber wubbers is up to 8lbs 8oz! He is growing to fast already!

Give me a little kiss......

My Aunt Sandy, really a friend of my parents, use to sing me this song & I have sung it to both of my boys, it's give me a little kiss, would ya, huh? Then the kiss! So when Logan sang it to Cale, my cup runneth over with pure joy & love. I knew that he would love him, but his love will be a bond throughout their lives. I am even more proud of him then ever before because he is showing an amazing unconditional love, he will make some woman very blessed. I'm using a quote from Carrie, there is no buddy like a brother!

Just A Swingen'

One of my amazing friends, Tracy let me borrow her travel swing for little Cale, in fact he is sleeping in it right now, that is why I can post a little something as we speak. He loves it, well as long as it is not swinging. As I never though that I would have a new born again I gave my swing, bouncy, exacausor, & most all of Logan's clothes to friends. So, this is just another thing that mu friends have done for me. Thanks so much Tracy!!
