Our New Furniture!!!!!!

My fabulous Hubby got me new living room furniture & it arrived today! I love it! Love, love, love it! Thanks baby!

An update

As we have had our second out of 3 post placement visits for Cale, all is well & going along smoothly with his adoption. Our agency informed us that we need to update for China. We have had mixed emotions on this but we decided to keep moving forward. They say that we should have a referral baby by spring of next year then be traveling a month or so after that. Logan is all set for a baby sister still, he never did put it on the back burner. I truly can't imagine having 2 little ones so close in age if she is around 6 months & our little Cale will be 1 by then. I am trusting in the Lord's Hands in this matter. It would truly be an amazing blessing! and no John, I will not be getting a Van! Never say never, right?!

I took Logan to breakfast, Pauls of course, then ran a quick errand & headed to the library. How truly amazing a simple trip to the library can be. Now he is looking at all of the books we brought home & I am able to post while Cale sleeps in his swing. Ahhhh, I have always loved Mondays.....enjoy your week.

He Did It!

One, Two, Three, roll! For you Moms that have watched Dora the Explorer you'll recognize the song..... We put him on his tummy & then he rolled right over, yeah, he did it, he did it, he did it, hooray! We've been practing & practicing for weeks now, but he did it, he did it, he did it hooray! He is such a big boy, I can hardly believe it, Yeah He Did It!!! Just a little over 4 months & I have a roller. He ended up doing it a dozen times in a row, I didn't want a false alarm so I had to be sure! Now for more baby proofing!

A Friendly Visit

A good friend of mine, Charity, was back in town for a visit. We spent the entire day together with the kids and her boyfriend, Chad. Logan would not leave her side or stop touching her in some way the entire day, from swim lessons to breakfast at Pauls, the new Batman movie, to dinner. It was also the first time she had met Cale. We had a great day, I didn't want it to end, & either did Logan. You don't realize what you have until it's gone, or moved in this case. You are an amazing friend to my entire family and we love ya!

Riding to the DQ

Papa Lyle picked up Logan for an early afternoon ride which included a hot dog & an ice cream cone at the DQ. Logan loves his Harley! Thanks, Papa!

Scrap Class

I took a class from Mrs. Carrie at the Hideaway Tuesday night. She is amazing! Not only were the projects to cute for words but then she makes us a home made gift of hot fudge topping for taking her class. You are too too sweet, Luv ya, and thanks for the "me" time! A Treasure

A family friend of ours that works at a dental office had the girls do a hand & foot mold of Cale yesterday. I had this done with Logan too, & I just treasure them. She tied a little blue bow around Logan's & then I put them in a glass dome for display. They are in my scrapbook room where they are nice & safe. Both buys cried a bit with the foot but were fine with the hand. Its really cold & restricting for them but the results will be a treasure always. Thanks, Jo! Your the best!

Extra, Extra, Read All About It

We tated up Logan already! The mall has a quiosk of airbrushed tattoos that last around 7 to 10 days for 3 bucks, so.......he picked it out & the color! He thinks we match now, its quite cute!
I got us concert tickets for Carrie, Yipee!!!!
Cale had his 4 month well check this afternoon where my little chubber wubbers is weighing in at 13lbs 6oz which is in the 10-25% His height is 25in which is 50-75% The shots were an ordeal he cried like you wouldn't believe & I ended up with quite a bit of blood on my new shirt, ugh. The Doc told me to start oarnge vegies, then green, then fruit, meats etc. so off to buy some, have a great weekend!

Carrie Underwood

Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10:00 am through the Griz Ticket outlet for her concert here in Missoula on November 21st. We hope to get tickets, it will be Logan's first concert, she "Rocks" according to my little man! We can't wait!

Play Group

Our church has a weekly playgroup on Wednesdays, that they are now combining with all 4 wards, so I thought, why not. During the summer they meet at Franklin park & during rainy/winter weather they meet at the stake center. Logan had a blast, he was covered in sand from head to toe. Even Cale enjoyed the sun. The gals were welcoming & friendly, & one of the ladies I had met a few years ago, when Logan took swim lessons at McCormick pool, its funny how its such a small world, & that the church truly brings families & friends together. We had a great early afternoon & met alot of neat gals & their kiddos! I know, no pics, I was to busy chatting away, next time!

Tripple Play Weekend

After Logan opened up his Birthday presents from us we hit the road & headed to Triple Play in Hayden Idaho. Logan loves the splash park they have. We first ate lunch at the Olive Garden, the first restaurant we took Logan to as an infant in Cali, then off to Toys R Us where he got to pick out anything he wanted (within reason) for another present. He picked a Wall E remote control toy. You're only 5 once, right?! Then we went to the new Cabelas, OK, very cool, even from my perspective. I loved looking at the animals, the aquarium, watching Logan in the shooting range, doing better than Daddy I might add. Then off to a relaxing time swimming. It was not to busy which was perfect. I take a disposable water camera inside so no swim pics but we had a super time. Even little Cale was decked out in his swim gear, even though he only got his feet wet. Mommy is just to protective, even though he didn't make a sound when his feet hit the cold water. My Mom bought him a baby float that we put him in for a whole 2 seconds but it made a comfy bed when he fell fast asleep. Whew.....I think I'm caught up!

My Boy!

You can see it in his smile, & you can feel it in his eyes. He is all boy, a boy of five, rough & tumble but oh so loving & sweet. A gal at church says he radiates with the Lord's image. I am blessed each & every day, even on those oh so frustrating days, he is an amazing boy, & he's all mine! All my love to you buddy! Happy 5th Birthday!

Ode to FIVE!

Logan's 5th Birthday party was on Saturday at Currents Pool in there Ripple room! He is all about cars still, but now its Speed Racer! The kids swam for an hour or so, then we had cake & opened presents & swam another hour or so. Silly me, blogger & scrapbooker took no pictures actually in the water. I was watching Cale & keeping track of alot of kiddos....He had an awesome time even with quite a few kids not being able to attend, this July 4th birthday business isn't all what its cracked up to be! We always make due though. Now were off to Hayden Idaho & Spokane to celebrate more & have a weekend at Triple Play. Hopefully I'll hit a few scrap stores, sshhhh! don't tell! Happy 5th Birthday to my Logan Dean! I love you to the moon & beyond!
